9:30 am - 6:00 pm
Our destination this year is Hull, to support the city in her year as 2017 UK City of Culture. If you have known Hull in past years, University, perhaps – well, there have been some changes! Or maybe you don’t know Hull at all – other then Docks, Rugby League and North Sea Ferry – now is a very good time to find out all about this King’s Town upon Hull.
We will set off at 9:30am, the coach picking us up at Huby Memorial Hall, then at Huby Chapel, on to All Hallows Church and lastly at the Old Post Office, Sutton. We aim to be back in the villages by 6pm. The coach fare is £12 for adults, children free as we are delighted to have young families join us.
The coach will drop up off in the centre of the city, and all around us within easy walking will be the City Hall, Ferrens Art Gallery, Maritime Museum, Holy Trinity Church – now Hull Minster, Princes Quay Shopping Centre, the Old Town and the Marina to explore and The Deep, of course – there are many exhibitions and events going on at various venues. A lot to see and discover – and lots of places to sit and refresh!
Please add your name to the list which will be at the back of church, letting us know how many adults and children. For more information call Mary on (01347) 810009, Olivia on (01347) 810617 or Pam on (01347) 810415.
As always, a big welcome to everyone who would like to join our day out – family, friends, neighbours!
