The village hall has now been standing for very nearly a whole century. A gift from the owner of Sutton Hall at the time, Mrs Grey, it was erected during the summer of 1926 and officially opened by her in October of that year.
As a way of marking the occasion we would hold a cocktail party with some musical entertainment and intend the event to have a 1920’s style theme so everyone would be welcome to come dressed in character (if they feel like it, of course).
