Brownies is a fun and inviting club for girls aged between 7 and 10. The girls get involved in a variety of different activities, ranging from arts and crafts to sports and baking. We also organise occasional day trips, activity days and weekend camps- encouraging the girls to try new skills and develop their independence. The unit runs in the school hall from 6-7.30pm on Tuesday evenings (term time) and we welcome girls from all faiths and backgrounds. Our promise states that a Brownie must be true to herself and follow her beliefs. We charge £20 per school term plus any additional costs to cover trips. The Girl Guiding community is very welcoming, and encourages new friendships in a nurturing and caring environment. Come along and see for yourself!
1st Sutton on the Forest Brownies – France Trip 2020
We are fundraising to enable us to take our Brownies to France. We think this will be a fantastic opportunity, enabling the girls to learn about different cultures, try new experiences and build their confidence.
Our aim is to encourage the girls to raise the funds needed through their own hard work and determination over the next year. We have various different events planned, such as bake sales, car washes & helping in the community. Any support or donations which we receive are very highly appreciated.
