This is one of the village’s main events and creates a fun social atmosphere whether you are taking part in the race, supporting friends/relatives taking part or just coming to enjoy a sweet treat and a cup of tea from the tea tent. It also raises approximately £2,500 -£3,000 which is used for major equipment repairs or to purchase new equipment.
